A TRIO of youngsters hope this summer's exam results will take them from Padworth to Cambridge and Oxford.
Three Padworth College students have been offered places to study at one of the world-renowned universities, collectively known as Oxbridge, depending on their A-level scores.
Hannah Windmill, from Brimpton, was offered a place at Girton College, Cambridge, to read social and political sciences, while Chinese youngster, Eric Xiang, was offered a place at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, to read maths and statistics.
Sean Pham, from Vietnam, was offered a place at Worcester College, Oxford, to read computer science.
Padworth's higher education adviser, Dr Alex Mitlehner, said: "We were delighted to hear that these three outstanding students have been successful in their applications - they are all ambitious and hard working and I am confident that they will achieve the A-level grades necessary."
