2-TEN FM Getaway Groom candidate Chris Anthony made a guest appearance on the pitch at the Madejski Stadium just before kick-off last night (Tuesday).

Chris, in top hat and tails, and fiancée Joanna Hills were applauded by the crowds and also met mascot Kingsley.

Joanna, a teacher at English Martyrs Primary School, said: "We were so grateful for all the support from Reading football club, they were brilliant and Kingsley was a true gentleman!"

Chris will find out live on air tomorrow (Friday) if he is down to the final two grooms and in with a chance to win a £10,000 dream wedding at Wokefield Park.

Chris and Joanna, both 25, have been out and about campaigning for votes in full wedding attire thanks to Bride to Be and The Grooms Room in Broad Street Mall, while Jay Design and Print have printed 1000's of posters and flyers, Millie's Cookies in The Oracle made a special giant "Vote for Chris" cookie which is on display and The Bear Factory and Reading Rockets joined the campaign too.

Joanna said: "It's almost the end of voting and we'd be so heart broken if we haven't got through. We've done everything we can now it's down to public votes."

Members of the public can vote up until 12 pm tomorrow (Thursday) at www.2tenfm.co.uk
