A DEAF and partially blind old dog was stolen from a car.
Katie, a 14-year-old fawn-coloured pug, was taken from the car in Wash Common, Newbury, between 9-9.20pm on Wednesday . Her owner was walking other dogs and was shocked to return to the car parked in Copehall Lane to find Katie had vanished - along with her bag and purse.
Anyone with information should contact PC Gareth Miles at Newbury police station through the 24-hour non-emergency number on 0845 850 5505. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
