A MAN is jailed for more than five years for possessing heroin and crack cocaine.
Alexander Morris was sentenced to five years and eight months behind bars on Monday 27 after he admitted possessing heroin and crack cocaine.
The 25-year-old was seen by officers on March 22 in Cannon Street, Reading, throwing away a small package containing three wraps of crack and three wraps of heroin.
A large quantity of heroin and cocaine was later found at a house in Oxford Road.
Morris was charged on March 23.
Det Con Alistair Bagshaw, said: "Supplying these drugs encourages their use and exacerbates the criminal cycle, I hope that this sentence will remind those who supply drugs or are considering doing so that they are risking losing their liberty for a long time."
Morris, of no fixed address, admitted to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs at Reading Crown Court.
