A man has been banned from making any calls to emergency services unless he genuinely needs their help.
Michael Bourke, of Reading Road, Woodcote, has been given an ASBO for two years after making 18 nuisance calls.
Magistrates in Oxford were told since 2012 he had made nuisance and abusive calls to Thames Valley Police and other emergency services.
The ASBO specifically prohibits him from making unnecessary or inappropriate 101 or 999 emergency calls, making unnecessary or inappropriate calls to Thames Valley Police and using offensive, abusive language whilst making telephone calls to Thames Valley Police or other emergency services.
The ASBO runs out on October 28 2016.
