A GOOD Samaritan took a cyclist home after colliding with him at a west Reading roundabout.
The 19-year-old cyclist and a black five door Vauxhall collided at the roundabout between Oxford Road and Portman Road at about 9pm on Tuesday.
The driver, a white man in his thirties or forties, gave the cyclist a lift home, but he was later taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital and treated for cuts and bruises and a fractured wrist.
Police are urging the driver, who is 5ft 8ins with dark hair, to come forward and speak to officers about happened.
PC Jenny Swain, from Roads Policing, said: “The driver of this vehicle stopped at the scene and gave the cyclist a lift home so may be unaware that police need to speak to him.
“We need to contact him and I urge him and any witnesses to make contact with us.”
