THE police watchdog has been called in to investigate Thames Velley Police’s response to reports of a man walking in the road in High Wycombe.
A 19-year-old man, from Woodley, collided with a blue Vauxhall Mokka in Valley Road, Hughenden, shortly before 6.40pm on Monday [27] and was rushed to Stoke Mandeville Hospital, but later died from his injuries.
The case has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) after officers received calls that a man was walking in the street.
Police keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the man walking along the road.
