FEET tingled and the crowd pulsated to the drumming beats by Travis Barker.

Blink 182 closed the main stage on Sunday with an hour and half set starting at 9.55pm.

Guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLounge entertained the crowds during the musical interludes, with talk of love and urinary tract infections.

The 90s band mingled their old classics, like Miss You and What's My Age Again, with newer tracks.

While the largest crowd turned up for the rock band, hundreds still swarmed to the NME tent to see Disclosure who played from about 10 - 11.30 pm. In the tent before them Matthew Healy, from The 1975, drove the crowd wild with his gyrating hips and curly locks.

The Indie stallion, who wore an opened brown blazer bearing his tatood chest, made one fan’s festival by bringing her up on stage.

At around 6.30pm a word perfect crowd bulged into the NME tent to sing and dance to the Kooks.

Back on the main stage at around 8pm Macklemore and Ryan Lewis started with a bang as fire jets sparked from the stage.

During his set he praised the unwashed campers at the festival, who will have lasted five days by the time the festival ends later today.

Earlier in the day Papa Roach's lead singer, Jacoby Shaddix, told the Chronicle “the crowd was great” after his mid-afternoon performance on the Main Stage.

He added: “Leeds rocked a little bit harder to be honest.” But others confirmed that Reading was the best crowd, and for the local boys in Young Guns, the Reading stage felt like “home”.

BBC's up and coming band, Mother, pulled in curious passers-by and got them dancing at the railings.

A modest crowd listened to the mellow bands in the Festival Republic Stage, including Pains of Being Heart, while the punk rockers headed to The Lock Up stage, with bands like The Flatliners.

For people wanting to dance to drum and base, BBC Radios Extra Stage delivered while the Dance Stage had live upbeat performances.

Propaganda continues through to the hours of the early morning with DJ-sets at the Alternative Stage, which are due to finish at 3am today.
