POLICE are trying to trace three witnesses who may have seen a group of men attack a teenager in west Reading.
The 17-year-old victim was stood at the corner of Scours Lane and Stadium Way at around 1.50pm on Thursday, August 7, when a group of men approached him and punched him in the head and side.
After falling to the ground the men continued their attack by kicking the teen before running away.
The boy called the police but despite sustaining bruising to the side of his head he did not need to go to hospital.
Police are trying to trace a couple who may have seen the attack when they drove past in a sliver car from Stadium Way into Scours Lane.
They are also trying to trace a woman in red clothes who spoke to the car driver, a white man with dreadlocks, shortly after the attack. His passenger was a woman with dark hair.
Witnesses should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
