TWO Reading teenagers have been arrested in connection with an attempted burglary and car theft near Hermitage.
The two boys, aged 14 and 17, were arrested on Monday last week in relation to the attempted break in of a shed in Hatchets Lane at around 4.20am that morning. A stolen silver car was also found abandoned in a nearby ford.
While the both teens were arrested on suspicion of theft or unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle and attempted burglary non-dwelling, the older boy was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled class B drug.
Both have been bailed until 24 September.
