MOTORISTS have been boosted by the news that water mains replacement work on Caversham Road will end tomorrow.
Thames Water were expected to complete the work - which had seen the southbound lane between Vachel Road and Tudor Road closed since Saturday last week - on Tuesday.
One northbound lane at the junction with Great Knollys Street was also shut for additional water main renewal work but Thames Water today announced the road restriction will be removed by 7am tomorrow.
Thames Water spokeswoman Becky Trotman said: "Our water mains replacement work on Caversham Road is almost complete and the lane restriction by the junction with Great Knollys Street will be removed by 7am on Good Friday."
