Man arrested in stabbing probe

POLICE are quizzing a man in connection with a stabbing in a west Reading park last night (Thursday).

A 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of GBH after an 18-year-old man was stabbed in the back and abdomen in Kensington Park shortly after 10pm.

The injured teen is being treated in the Royal Berkshire Hospital where police say he is in a stable condition.
