Heroin warning after deaths
POLICE have issued a warning to drug users after two men died last night from possibly taking a bad batch of heroin.
Both the men, from different addresses in Reading, died at the Royal Berkshire Hospital after suffering heart attacks.
Thames Valley Police said in a statement: "Investigations are ongoing and officers have not ruled out the possibility that a contaminated or bad batch of the drug is involved.
"As a result, Thames Valley Police is warning other drug users in Reading to be vigilant."
One of the men was in his 40s and the age of the other has not yet been confirmed.
