Motorway closure tonight

PART of a busy motorway will be shut overnight.
Wokingham Borough Council is closing the westbound carriageway of the A329(M) between its junctions with London Road at the Coppid Beech roundabout and Winnersh Triangle.
The slip roads from both directions of the M4 towards Reading and Winnersh Triangle will also be closed.
Council spokesman James Sherwood apologised for any inconvenience and said: "This is to enable emergency road reparation work to be carried out in safety to rectify major road surface defects.
"The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this closure will be via A329 London Road, A329 Peach Street, A329 Broad Street, and A329 Shute End, A329 Reading Road, A3290 / Winnersh triangle access road and Wharfedale Road."
The works will start at 10.30pm and should be finished by 3am in the morning.
