More ads on buses

BUSES will be plastered in adverts to try to raise more money for Reading Transport.

The bus company is bringing in large advert panels on 14 double-deckers on its busiest route, the number 17, with other buses soon to follow.

Marketing manager Nikki Honer said: "These buses run every few minutes every day and are therefore used and seen by a large number of people.

"They also pass a tremendous number of people on the course of their journey and we are opening up the buses on Premier Route 17, as well as many other vehicles across Reading over the next few months, to carry advertising.

She said the buses would also be used to self-promote the company, including its new simplyBus range of tickets.

  It takes a while , but Reading Buses do get the idea eventually! Something like the way to get more customers is to reduce the fares!
