THE Green Party is running a full slate of council candidates in tomorrow's election (pictured right).
Voters are going to the polls in 15 of Reading borough's 16 wards to elect a councillor for the next four years.
The party's Park ward candidate Rob White, who is also fighting the Reading East Parliamentary seat, missed out by 20 votes last time.
He said: "We agree with those who are saying that because of our hard work and our good election results, this year in Park ward it is a two-horse race between us and the unpopular Labour Party. Fair is worth fighting for."
There are also local elections in 18 Wokingham borough wards, where the Greens are standing five candidates. For a full list of candidates in all today's elections, log on to our special website at www.readingchronicle.co.uk/election2010
