TORY shadow ministers flooded into Reading West to back Alok Sharma's run for Parliament.
As Gordon Brown gave his speech in Reading Town Hall on Monday, Reading East MP Rob Wilson and 13 leading Tories helped to deliver leaflets and canvass voters in the seat.
Mr Wilson said: "I am delighted at the level of support that Alok has received. He is already working hard for local people and we are all behind him because we all know he will be a brilliant MP."
In total 30 Conservative MPs turned up to help and Mr Sharma added: "I was absolutely delighted by the number of Conservative MPs who turned out to help my campaign in Reading West and get the Conservative message out."

I wonder if any one of this bunch of Tories can answer my questions that they avoid every time that I ask them...............Firstly, The Tories say that they are going to s**** the HIP. How are they going to do this when the EU insist that every property bought, sold or rented must have an Energy Performance Certificate.Are we leaving the EU?
Secondly , The Tories (as well as Labour and Libdems) love to campaign,and rightly so, to save green spaces such as Pincents Hill. Given that GB says we need to build 3 million houses by 2020 to house the population, where exactly do you stand on the question of immigration that fuels all this demand for extra housing. Answers must include numbers ,not bull !
