LISA Chaffey found helping others succeed in business was the best way to make her own business succeed.

She launched In A Pickle a year ago offering virtual assistant services from bookkeeping and office management to marketing, website development and lifestyle management.

It means low overheads for clients, who can use her as and when needed.

Lisa, 27, is from Whitchurch Hill and used to work for BP in Pangbourne.

She now has more than 30 clients from all over the Thames Valley including Reading and Newbury.

She said: "My whole philosophy since launching In A Pickle has been to help businesses in innovative ways so that they benefit.

"Whether it's to improve their systems or explore the world of social media, I strive to be more than just an extra pair of hands." She added: "Using In A Pickle enables small businesses to do just what they set out to do in the first place - achieve their individual goals and make a success of things.

"My motto is 'work smarter, not harder' - people who use In A Pickle love the fact that they're no longer bogged down in the mundane tasks and can actually concentrate on what they do best, such as finding new clients."

She celebrated her first anniversary by giving clients specially-made cupcakes.
