SUPPORT Children In Need this Friday and bid for a piece of music legend.

Fundraisers have issued a last chance call for tickets to a unique event which will give fans of The Shadows the chance to get their hands on guitars signed by the

legendary band themselves and Sir Cliff Richard.

Celebrating The Shadows brings together the best Shadows tribute bands in the land to play classic hits like Apache and there is a chance to splash the cash for a good cause in an auction for two signed guitars, including Hank Marvin's iconic red and white Fender Stratocaster.

A former Shadow will also be in action in the form of bass player Alan Jones, who now plays with The Shadowers, acknowledged as being the next best thing to 'The Shads' themselves.

Woodley drum shop owner Chris Wright will also be playing with his band the Driftin' Shadows.

So if you've missed Cliff and co on their current 50th anniversary tour why not come and support Children in Need and relive that crisp clean sound that defined British pop music before The Beatles.

The concert begins at 6.45pm at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, Rushey Way, Lower Earley, Friday, November 20. Tickets are £20.
