Microsoft manager logs off

Microsoft UK's commercial director of advertising is to step down after 13 years.

Chris Ward has announced he is to leave the role, one of the country's top media jobs. He was responsible for overseeing advertising revenue and launching and running the MSN site.

UK sales director Chris Maples will step into the position until a new appointment is made.
