TWO major new retailers have signed up to move into the Broad Street Mall bringing more than 30 new jobs.

The former Zavvi unit on the corner of St Mary's Butts is to become Ethel Austin while the Adams unit inside the main entrance is to become Modelzone.

Clothes retailer Ethel Austin will incorporate its homewares brand Au Naturale in part of its 15,000 sq ft unit and employ 27 people full and part-time.

That deal was signed last Friday and on Monday, Modelzone signed up to move into the former Adams unit inside the mall and bosses said they want to recruit 'six enthusiasts'..

Mall manager Steve Fawke said: "This is fantastic news for us and the first of a number of announcements we will be making. These are new retailers to the town. The Zavvi unit is the most prominent unit we have in the scheme."
