The latest version of the business bible for Reading has just come out. The Reading Development and Investment Review has been published by Hicks Baker and Reading UK CIC.
The free pocket booklet, last published 18 months ago, details every significant project either in progress or in the pipeline in Reading and is highly regarded by investors and businesses.
A mail out of the book has been delayed by the postal strike but to enquire about a copy, contact Hicks Baker on 0118 959 6144.
It is also downloadable from the Hicks Baker website at www.hickbaker.co.uk

Hans Christian Andersen eat your heart out. I am not sure that the statistics stack up. Here is a little gem - Reading has low unemployment i.e. the population is working - there are few who want jobs. If this is so then how can prosperity be driven by the growth in this visionary fable. It cannot. The saddest part is that Reading known as a market town is being misrepresented as a city and again exploits the statistics for greater Reading. Here is the punch line. With the massive developments being planned Reading instead of being Dubai on Thames will be the Thamesbridge of the South. This is not a business bible - it is more akin to a property prospectus.
And one for the people of the town - wait till you see what is in-store North of the Railway line, on the Hewlett Packard site, and for the Courage Brewery site.
