TODAY the Chronicle launches a new I Care campaign to recognise the vital work of carers across our area.

We want to hear from carers and their families and friends about their experiences, to inspire other carers and help them realise they are not alone and there is support available.

The campaign ties in with national Carers' Week, which starts on Monday, and aims to highlight the role of "the UK's secret service".

For details of events happening in Carers' Week, organisations that provide support and an interview with a carer, see this week's Reading Chronicle.

To share your experiences please write to Newsdesk, Reading Chronicle, 50-56 Portman Road, Reading, RG30 1BA, call 0118 963 3156 or email rharland@berksmedia.co.uk
