A SERIOUS sexual assault on a male this morning (Sunday October 2) in Reading town centre has led to a police appeal for information.
The male victim was assaulted in Queens Walk in the early hours.
A scene watch is still in place in the town centre in connection with the incident.
Detective Sergeant Richard Vint said: "We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen any males acting suspiciously in the town centre between 3am and 7am this morning."
He stressed the incident was thought to be isolated and not a random attack.
