A TEENAGE BOY has been convicted of dealing heroin.
A 17-year-old boy, from Reading, admitted possession with intent to supply a class A drug, at Reading Magistrates Court.
He was discovered by officers at Napier Road, Reading, acting in a suspicious manner. He was stop searched and found to have a large amount of class A drugs on his person.
He was arrested and charged on that same day (June 13), and admitted the offences on June 14.
The boy will be sentenced at Reading Magistrates Court on July 4.
Officer in the case PC Alex Alewood, of the Reading Stronghold team said: “Drug dealing is a priority for Thames Valley Police.
“We will ensure that offenders are brought to justice and work with our partners to safeguard the most vulnerable in our communities.
“We would urge anyone who has any knowledge of any drug dealing to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
