A CONSULTATION on extending pay and display times throughout one of the town's most popular roads is underway.
Reading Borough Council wants to increase the hours it can charge motorists for parking along Oxford Road.
Drivers are currently charged to park in the pay and display zones between 8am and 6.30pm.
However, the council wants to extend the charging time until 8pm. The no return time limit will also extend from one hour to two hours.
