A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of robbing a convenience store.
The robber entered the Londis on London Road, Reading at 3.40am on Sunday January 21 with a screwdriver.
He proceeded to threaten staff with the tool and demanded money from the tills, and left with an amount of cash.
Nobody was injured in this robbery, and police later arrested a 19-year-old from Caversham on suspicion of robbery. He has been released on bail until February 26.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Marius York, of Reading Force CID, said: "I am appealing for anyone who saw this incident to get in touch.
"If you have any details which you think could help our appeal, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.
