A PAIR of thugs attacked two teenagers with a metal pole before punching and kicking them.

Two boys, aged 17 and 14, were walking in an alleyway between Morriston Road and Strathy Close, Reading, at 7pm on January 18, when they were attacked by two male offenders.

The thugs hit the teenagers with a metal pole, as well as kicking them and punching them.

The 17-year-old sustained a fractured arm, while the 14-year-old sustained a fractured cheekbone.

After the incident, the two boys were treated in hospital before being discharged.

He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, and black, paint stained trousers.

He had a brown beard and brown hair, and could have had an Irish accent.

Investigating officer, PC Yong Chung, based at Reading police station, said: “This was a very concerning incident, which has left two teenage boys requiring hospital treatment.

“I would like to speak to anyone who saw this incident, or who has any information which they think could help our investigation.
