TRIBUTES continue to pour in for a 'vivacious' and 'beautiful' woman who was involved in a fatal collision on Saturday.

Karen Dance, from Grovelands Road, died after she was hit by a white Range Rover on the Inner Distribution Road (IDR) between the Castle Street and Oxford Road roundabouts at around 12.45am.

Flowers and loving messages have been left at the scene of the crash after the 44-year-old died from her injuries.

Her sister Shelley Brown was one of many people to leave a message on a Facebook page which has been set up in her memory.

She said: My darling sister. You always berated me if I called you Karen! I was your sister.

"You were always with me and I feel you with me now. My heart is full of love.

"I feel your presence more strongly than ever. I cannot focus on the cruelty of you leaving, I focus on the joy that you brought me and everyone you touched.

"So vivacious, so beautiful, so happy. My sister, Karen, I will cherish you until the day I pass and I will be with you again.

"You were not meant to grow old. It would never have suited you "Forever and always. My love to you my sister, my soul mate, my best friend, my other half x."

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving without due care or attention while over the limit of a controlled drug, in connection with this second fatal crash.

He has been released on bail while under police investigation.

Another post from Sasha Anthony reads: "Karen was one of the best Godparents I could have ever asked for she was always smiling always laughing and never missed one birthday or one Christmas or any special occasions.

"I couldn’t have asked for someone better to call my Godmother.

"I love you and I will miss you always and you will be here with me on every birthday and Christmas. I love you."

An inquest into her death was opened by Berkshire Coroner's Office on Wednesday.
