A PAIR of burglars have been jailed after a string of thefts from a Waitrose distribution centre.
Rafal Fryzowksi, 44, and Piotr Nawrocki, 47, both from Reading, were found guilty of a string of burglaries from the warehouse in Doncastle Road, Bracknell.
Between December 20 2016 and February 22 2017, Nawrocki carried out 21 burglaries, while Fryzowksi committed 13 at the same location.
The pair stole cigarettes, tobacco and razors during their raids, and when Nawrocki was arrested he had £3,000 worth of stock on him.
Upon consulting CCTV footage, police discovered Nawrocki committing a further 20 burglaries, and discovered Fryzowksi assisting him on 13 occasions.
Nawrocki was sentenced to three years and seven months, while Fryzowksi was handed a three years and three months sentence.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Hannah Bee, of Reading Force CID, said: “Nawrocki and Fryzowksi targeted Waitrose and committed a series of burglaries over a three month period.
“The actions of these men led to considerable financial loss by Waitrose and I am pleased with the custodial sentences imposed upon them.”
