One of the stranger things about writing for a newspaper is sometimes you don't just write about stuff, sometimes you have to do it.

So when I began writing a monthly feature on one of our advertisers, TopMatch, a dating service for business people and professionals, I offered to be a a guinea pig to try the service for real.

At first I told only one person. She told me to be afraid. I already was.

Now I am officially a member and although my details are on the web, you can only read them if you are a member. Nothing to be afraid of so far. Let's hope it stays that way.
