TWO men have been arrested after a sexual assault at a Reading hotel over the weekend.

The Wolverhampton men were bailed after police were called to the Hotel Ibis on Oxford Road early on Sunday morning.

Officers cordoned off a room in the hotel as they began their investigations.

Police were called after a young woman said two men had sexually assaulted her in the hotel.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "We responded to reports of a sexual assault at the Ibis hotel at 5.19am on Sunday, March 5.

"Two men in their 20s from Wolverhampton were arrested on suspicion of sexual assault against a woman, also in her 20s.

"They have been bailed until April 8."
