This is the person police say snuck into a sleeping pensioner's home and stole his mobile phone.

The man in his seventies woke up to find the stranger standing in his living room at around 3pm last Thursday.

When questioned the intruder said he had got locked out of his own home before he fled the property in Western Elms Avenue.

The elderly man later found his mobile phone was missing.

The offender is though to be in his late 20s or early 30s, and described as slim and around 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a dark top.

Designated investigator Zara Appleby said: “This was an upsetting experience for the victim, and so we would urge anyone with any information about this incident or who recognises the offender from the e-fit to help us with our continuing investigation and contact us as a matter of urgency."

If you have any information contact Zara Appleby via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
