MOTORISTS have finally been given the answer to an age-old conundrum. Which is posher: Henley or Sonning?

The dilemma appears to have been solved after an impromptu sign labelling the roads appeared on Playhatch roundabout.

The cheeky sign points motorists towards Henley with an arrow labelled 'posh'. Meanwhile a second arrow off towards Sonning is labelled 'even posher'.

Henley, which boasts the famous annual regatta, counts Michael Heseltine and Sir Clive Woodward amongst its residents and is represented in parliament by Boris Johnson. The town also has one of the most elite amateur cricket sides in the country.

Meanwhile Sonning enjoys the presence of Hollywood sensation George Clooney and current Prime Minister Theresa May amongst its residents.

Sonning, at least in the eye's of the sign's phantom builder, has clearly won the clash.
