A WOMAN in her fifties was rushed to hospital with a broken neck after being hit by a car.
She was walking along Hangar Road between Theale and Sulhamstead when she was hit by a red Peugeot 306 on Thursday, October 27.
She was left with a broken neck, fractured ribs, and other serious injuries.
Emergency services rushed to the scene just after the 7.35pm crash and the woman was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Investigating officer PC Justin Thomas, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information which could assist the investigation to please contact the police.”
