THIS is the person police want to speak to after a man had his home burgled at knifepoint.

The man in his fifties was at his house in Basingstoke Road, Spencers Wood when two men came to his door.

Forcing their way in one of the burglars pulled a knife on the homeowner while the other rooted around for goods to steal.

The man was unharmed during the ordeal but a number of watches were taken.

It took place at around 3.20am on February 18.

Officers from Thames Valley Police are today releasing this E-Fit in the hope it will help them track down one of those involved in the incident.

Both offenders are described as black with one aged in his mid-twenties, 5ft 9ins tall, of average build and with short cropped black hair.

The other is 6ft and of a broad to large build.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Alice Ashman, from Reading Force CID, said: “Detectives are investigating this aggravated burglary in which a man was held at knifepoint in his home after two men forced entry in the early hours of the morning.

“This was obviously a distressing incident for the victim and we are continuing to investigate the circumstances.

“I would like to speak to anyone who recognises the person depicted in the E-Fit to contact police as soon as possible.”
