A SPECTACULAR display of Christmas lights and fireworks is expected to raise hundreds of pounds for charity.

Festive decorations have been scattered over one house on Hugh Fraser Drive in Tilehurst and the annual switch-on will take place on Sunday in aid of Wessex Heartbeat.

Kay Parker explained that her family started to ‘go big’ on the Christmas display after her son, Daniel, was born with a congenital heart problem and he received ‘brilliant’ care.

The display will be switched on at 6pm and donations will be taken on the day.
