A CAR caught fire after an electrical fault set a front headlight ablaze, firefighters have revealed.
The Renaut scenic's electrical systems failed causing firefighters to be called to London Road earlier this afternoon (Thursday, March 9).
The front of the car was damaged during the blaze which broke out at 3.30pm although no one was injured.
The crew stopped the fire spreading beyond the front of the car.
A spokesman for Wokingham Road fire station, said: “There was an electrical fault within the vehicle.
“We gained access to the vehicle, isolated the fire and prevented further damage.”
