A 25-year-old man has been charged with murder after the death of 36-year-old in London Road in December.
Paramedics called police to the scene, between Liverpool Road and Manchester Road, at 4.20am on Sunday December 27.
They found the body of a man later identified as an Uzbekistani man, Bobir Esanov, known as Bob.
Yesterday Thames Valley Police charged Damir Begmatov, 25 of London Road with one count of murder. He will appear before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court later today (Tuesday January, 12).
A 36-year-old man, also from Reading, arrested on New Year's Day on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released without charge.
