A HOODED figure was seen being grilled by police officers after a fight broke out at Broad Street Mall.
Two police cars, multiple officers, along with security guards, attended the scene in Bridge Street at around 2.30pm on Friday afternoon.
An anonymous eye-witness said: "I did not see what they were called for, but there were two police cars.
"As well as police officers, security staff were also on the roadside.
"They were putting a man into handcuffs.
"I could not see his face, because he had a big white hood over his head."
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "We were called to reports of an assault in Broad Street Mall, Reading, at 2.51pm today (28/7).
"Officers have attended and are currently dealing, no injuries are reported at this time."
