A BOOK of condolence for the seven people who tragically lost their lives in London over the weekend will open in Reading tomorrow.
Residents are invited to attend a minute's silence and sign the book at the council's civic offices in Bridge Street, from 11am.
Cllr Rose Williams, Mayor of Reading, said: “Following on from Manchester, it is heart breaking to now have to mourn the victims of another horrific attack, this time in London. Once more, the thoughts of everyone in Reading are with the families and friends of people who have lost their lives, or who have been injured.
“I would point Reading residents to the Book of Condolence which will open tomorrow at the Civic Offices and where they can add their own thoughts over the coming days. Residents can also join me for a moment of reflection at 11am outside the Civic Offices on Tuesday morning.”
