Divers called after boat sinks
SPECIALIST water rescue crews were called to Caversham over fears people could have been trapped on a sunken boat.
Divers were sent into the water but found no trace of anyone.
Crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood were called to The Causeway earlier this afternoon.
The fire crews were unable to refloat the boat before leaving the scene at 5pm. The task will fall to the Environment Agency, tomorrow morning.
