A ROBBER who tore a necklace off a man is being sought by police.
The man was walking with another woman when the thief tried and failed to rip jewellery from the woman's neck.
He then turned to the man who was wearing a gold Greek patterned necklace which was ripped away.
The victim was left with scratches but did not need any medical attention.
The robbery took place at around 4.50pm on Saturday in Bath Road in Calcot, near to the Aldi store.
Police described the suspect as white, in his mid twenties, around 5ft 4ins tall and with short brown / ginger hair and facial hair.
He was wearing a light grey tracksuit with a hood up and ran off in the direction of Holmwood Avenue.
Anyone with information is asked to call Thames Valley Police on 101.
