Burglars stole TV and Playstation
BURGLARS who broke into a house stole a TV and PlayStation worth thousands of pounds.
They climbed through a ground floor bedroom window in Palmer Park Avenue house at 8.50pm last Friday and took a 32ins Techniks television and a Playstation 3 with its controllers and leads.
Witnesses later saw two men fleeing empty handed from the front door and police are trying to establish whether there is a connection.
Both men are aged between 17 and 20-years-old with dark skin.
The first man is about 5ft 8ins and slim. He wore a black and orange baseball cap, a blue winter coat, a white t-shirt and blue baggy jeans. His accomplice is 5ft 7ins tall with short black hair.
Det Con Ben Symons said: "I would like to hear from anyone who saw two men fitting the above description acting suspiciously in the area.
"I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered electronic items for sale as this information could be useful in our investigation."
Anyone with any information should call the 24-hour non-emergency police number, 101, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
