A CAVERSHAM woman has enjoyed a day out in London in recognition of her 20 years' service.

Carolyn Clark was one of more than 100 Sodexo long service award recipients from across Britain and Ireland invited for a host of activities.

The trip began with an awards ceremony where winners were personally congratulated by chief executive, Aidan Connolly, and HR director, Natalie Bickford, during afternoon tea and a river cruise on the Thames.

The winners then took a flight on the London Eye before a celebratory dinner at Madame Tussauds, with a live band and the presentation of a gift in recognition of their service.

Sodexo has 43,000 employees and provides catering and facilities management services at more than 2,300 locations across the business, education, healthcare, leisure and defence sectors.

Mr Connolly said: "People are at the heart of Sodexo. Our business relies on tens of thousands of talented individuals who provide exceptional service.

"This annual event is a great opportunity to show our appreciation for people like Carolyn and to show just how much we value and appreciate all the hard work, dedication, and loyalty she has shown over the years."
