Festivities in full swing!

A HOST of Christmas fairs take place across Caversham and Emmer Green on Saturday.

Emmer Green Primary School PTFA has its fair from 1.30-4pm.

Admission is 50p and free for under-11s, with proceeds towards upgrading the sound and lighting system in the hall at the Grove Road school.

There will be a Santa's grotto, seasonal refreshments, tombola, face painting, grand draw and a wide choice of gifts.

Caversham Methodist Church, Gosbrook Road, promises cakes, gifts, toys, jams, books, a raffle, hot mince pies and coffee at its fair between 11am-1.30pm.

Our Lady and St Anne's Christmas bazaar is from 1.30-4pm in St Anne's Hall, Washington Road, Caversham.
