CAVERSHAM'S newest business venture promises to keep everyone in the village well-groomed.

Perry's Beauty opened its Church Street doors with a pamper evening.

Beautician Perry Johnson welcomed her guests with champagne on arrival and gave them five-minute samples from the treatment range, and a raffle raised more than £80 for The Duchess of Kent Hospice.

Perry said: "I am delighted to be able to open the doors of my new salon and have a feeling I will be very happy here for a long time.

"I have been overwhelmed at the response from my clients and the local community and I look forward to offering high-quality beauty services."

Perry completed her NVQ Level 2 and 3 in beauty therapy in 2004 and has spent the last five years building up a client base to the point where she has been able to purchase her own salon.

The salon, which opened on November 16, offers treatments from standard beauty therapies, including waxing and facials, to specialist procedures such as eyelash extensions and semi-permanent make-up.
