AS A church's centenary year celebrations draw to a close, the last guest preachers are preparing to visit.

Caversham Heights Methodist Church welcomes The Reverend Andy Moffoot, from Tilehurst Methodist Church, who has spent some years as a mission partner in Kenya.

Rev Moffoot will preach at the 10.30am service on World Mission Day on Sunday.

Former Caversham minister, The Rev Rosemary Fletcher, and her husband James Rowley will spend the whole of Advent Sunday on November 29 at the Highmoor Road church.

Rev Fletcher will preach at both the 10.30am and 6.30pm services and together at 4pm, the couple will give a picture of Sri Lanka, where they are currently serving as mission partners.

The final guest preacher at the 10.30am service on Sunday, December 6 will be The Rev Professor Frances Young, a well-known author and theologian who taught theology at the University of Birmingham from 1971-2005.
