Residents have been out today protesting for and against a new mosque.
A self-proclaimed 'mosque buster' is assisting a group of residents who are against the proposed mosque on School Road, Tilehurst.
Police were on scene to keep the event peaceful.
Taking to social media, Reading councillors have said that town 'will not be divided' and paid a visit to the proposed centre where they were made 'very welcome'.
Residents (pictured above, Cllr Hacker, Twitter) turned out earlier in the day, separately to the anti-mosque demonstrators to meet with the ZWF and show their support for the facility.
