A WORKSHOP explaining how to read old handwriting will be held in Reading on Monday.
The Berkshire Record Office, in Coley Avenue, will be holding a session on deciphering old handwriting found in documents dating from the 1500s to the 1700s.
The interesting session will be helpful to any would-be genealogists researching their family tree, or those with an interest in the period.
The cost of the session is £20 per person, and takes place between 10.15am and 2.45pm on Monday, February 26. Attendees will need to bring their own lunch, paper and pencils, but refreshments will be provided.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited to just 10 people.
